My name is Marley. I was born in China. I went to live with Lady when I was almost three on May 20,2004.She is American. My first family moved away, so Lady adopted me. We celebrate my adoption day and my birthday on May 20 each year. We stayed in China until 2007, then moved to South India. That was my first plane ride. I flew from China to Thailand and Thailand to India. I lived in Bangalore for two and a half years before moving north to New Delhi in March 2010. That was my third flight. It wasn't so long. Now we live a day's journey north of Delhi. I didn't fly. Lady hired a taxi to move us up here in the Himalayas. I am very important to Lady. I help her meet new people in our neighborhood. Sometimes other humans don't want to talk to her because she is a foreigner. I break the ice. I let her know when strangers come around. I greet her enthusiastically when she comes home. I clean up stuff she drops on the floor when she cooks. I keep her warm in the winter. I lick her tears when she is sad and misses her family. I stay right with her when she is sick. I'm ten now, and have some back issues, so Lady has to carry me on the stairs and when I get tired. I am much better now. I no longer need my wheelchair. My Easter Bucket got filled again this year! I got chicken, a new baby, and chews.

New Wheels
I've been dragging my hind legs so Lady ordered wheels for me from the states. I don't really like them yet.

Merry Christmas
This is me in front of my Christmas tree in our home in India. We're the only ones in our neighborhood who have a tree.. It's very cold so I have on my Christmas sweater.

Time for bed
I put myself to bed, near the heater at the foot of Lady's bed. She laughed and took my photo. Woke me up.

Heating Pad
When my back hurts, I have my own heating pad. It helps.

Tea Time
In China, Lady and I went to the teahouses to meet friends. They'd shell seeds for me.

Hey kiddo we wanted to stop in and say hi. Come by and see the picture of my new sister. She's a doxie beagle mix from what the shelter tells mom. I am annoyed by her at this point but mom is staying positive and is hoping I will love her soon. Hope India is warming up that winter stuff is hard on us little ones. Wishing you and mom well!

Hello Marley
I just read about your hurt around your shoulders. I hope the vet helps you to get better soon. Your new picture makes you look "cool", a day at the beach! Mom made me stay in the bedroom with her while Dad gave out treats on Halloween. I had surgery and had three tumors removed and I am to be quiet...well...you know how that goes. I got my stitches taken out Sat. and I am doing very well. Take care friend, Teddy Bear
