It is with great sadness that I am posting that our little boy, Teddy Bear, passed on to heaven April 20, 2015. Our hearts are broken, we miss our little boy so very much. He was the best little boy and loved us so very much. He was so special to us and we did our best to make each day on earth special for him. What a blessing and privilege it has been to care and love him. I know when the time is right we will be together again. March 2, 2002- April 20, 2015

Teddy Bear is our little boy. He was born in 2002 and has been with our family since Father's Day of that year when he was a puppy. He loves his family and is a faithful companion. We named him Teddy Bear since he is cuddly like a teddy bear.

Teddy loves his food and always will sit up and beg for our food when we eat. I am still amazed when he sits up, can not figure out how he knew he looks so cute to get a treat! We have to watch his weight because he does not.

Teddy loves to hunt the rabbits and squirrels that invade our yard. That is his mission each time he goes out, to find those critters and keep them out of his yard. He also guards the TV and will bark at any cat or dog that will take over the screen. He is a good guard dog.

Teddy Bear brings so much love to us and we think of him as our son, "our little boy". He thinks we are his parents and wants to be with us always. He is such a good traveler and has been with us all over the states and Canada. Our little boy is loved.

Update September 2014- This past year has been with many health challenges for Teddy. He was found to have Cushing's Disease and Bladder Cancer- Transitional Cell Carcinoma. Last Dec. 2013 he had bladder surgery and he did not do well afterwards. We took him then to Purdue University which has a wonderful department of vets that are doing studies and clinical trial drugs for TCC. We can not say enough good praise for Purdue's vets that took care of Teddy. He was given chemo drugs but did not tolerate them well. He is now taking a drug called piroxicam to slow down the growth of his cancer. Every day that we have with our Teddy is a blessing.
