We too bought a puppy from a pet store, not our Cory Jo though. Our Sammy also had kennel cough and a parasite, it took 3 perscriptions to get him over that and then he was never healthy. He also developed a heart murmer and died just before his 8th birthday of congestive heart failure. That was also our introduction to puppy mills. Cory Jo on the other hand, has been healthy and happy and busy barking! You've had several new family members lately. How have you been getting along with the new furbabies? We saw that your Bengals won again today! They did good. Our Jaguars found a way not to lose. We're not much into football, but Mom usually watches that, car racing and basketball on Sundays after we get home from the dog park. We just take a good nap from which we occasionally awoken by loud noises coming from Mom. We really wish she would keep it down, so we can get our beauty sleep! We think you're kinda cute in your Santa hat and we respect you for making your Mom happy by posing for her. Lately, our Mom's been doing Christmas photos of us. Just can't understand how anyone can treat animals so terrible! Our Ollie didn't come from a puppy mill. But we are thinking of adopting a dachshund from a rescue place. We feel the same about puppy mills, my brother Sammy, (not a dachshund) came from a pet store too so mom and dad got their first introduction to puppy mills the same way. Sammy was sick when mom and dad got him and now that he's 7 he has a very bad heart murmur and has to take medicine everyday. He coughs and coughs and has a hard time breathing. I came from a back yard breeder but I was healthy and I have hardly ever been sick, except for that time I got into the candy dish full of chocolate, it was soooo good but boy was I sick! I came from a backyard breeder. I had coccidiosis, worms, ringworms and fleas when Mommy brought me home. With TLC and proper vet care, I am very healthy. I have a wonderful home with Mommy and my three cats. I love cats! Come visit again.
