Pixie is the grandma of our bunch, she was born in 1997. She is a small (6 lb) mixed breed chiuahua. Even though she is outnumbered by our doxies, she holds her own, they respect her. I know she's not a doxie, but I couldn't leave her out she is part of the family. My husband woneders if she thinks of herself as the 'Ugly Dachshund' (for those of you who have not seen that old movie, it's worth it!
Update August 2014 - Pixie girl is still with us at 17 years old. She has a little more difficult time with her vision these days and does not chance jumping up on the bed or couch anymore, but she still loves to play from time to time. And she continues to want lovens from mom and dad.
Update June 6, 2015 - It is unfortunate to give this update, but early this morning we lost our Pixie. It is with great sadness that we let her go, however 18 years and 1 month is a pretty awesome life for a little girl! She will be greatly missed by all her family...especially mommy! I hope heaven has lots of toys, Love and miss you Pixie!

Pixie lived an awesome life with her loving family, it's so nice to see our loved ones remembered years later! Pixie has lots of new friends to play with and I hope one is Dewy.
