My sister-in-law, Kate, decided to breed her doxie, and my wife and I got a freebie. I've never had anything other than a big dog since I was a kid, so I was a little less than thrilled. Boy, was I wrong! Blitzkrieg is such a lovable dog; he is my shadow, my walking companion (along with Sam, a lab mix) and my excuse to go outside in any weather to play. Blitzy also loves to play with our cat, which is bigger than him.
