I'm Dach. I'm a spoiled short haired Standard Dachshund. Mom adopted me from the local animal shelter in 2010 after seeing me on Petfinder.com. Mom found out when she went back to get my license that if she hadn't adopted me I would have been put to sleep that night. I have 3 Chihuahua siblings (2 sisters & a brother) and a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix brother. We have all been spayed & neutered since Mom knows there are too many unwanted animals in shelters already. Unfortunately my brother Paco has to live with Grandma & Grandpa since we can't get along. Mom spent a lot of money on trainers & a behaviorist but they were unable to help. He just lives next door so Mom goes to see him every day. Mom loves us all very much and says we are her kids.

We have had nice weather the past couple days. Mom has been taking me outside to play ball. In this pic, I'm being a good boy while I wait for her to throw it :)
