EVERY TIME HE HAD AN ACCIDENT WE TOOK HIM TO THE DOOR AND TOOK HIS PAW AND RANG THE BELL - IT TOOK 2 WEEKS BUT EVERY TIME HE NEEDS TO GO POTTY OUTSIDE HE WILL RING THE BELL. CAUTION: AT FIRST HE WILL RING THE BELL JUST TO GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY - SO HE MAY RING IT ALOT AT FIRST - BUT PRAISE HIM AND LET HIM OUT EVERY TIME :) - PEOPLE CANNOT BELIEVE OUR GARY RINGS THE BELL TO GO OUT - WE REALLY NEEDED THE BELL - BECAUSE OUR GARY WAS RESCUED FROM HORRIFIC CONDITIONS AND DOESNT BARK - BUT THE TRAINER SD IT WORKS WELL FOR ALL DOGS - DO NOT GET A BIG BELL AS IT WILL PROB.
