Rusty, our red short hair was our first doxie. Rusty had seizures from his first year, and passed at age 8 due to this problem. He also had, at one time, a back problem which caused him the use of his hind legs. I used to massage him and take him in the spa. We finally went to the site: K9carts.com and got him a cart. He used it for a total of three months and then pulled himself out of it and ran about till his end of days. He was our treasure, and we called him our "doctor" if anyone was feeling ill he was right there to cuddle with you till you were well again. He was a player, a leader and a teacher to our second doxie Blacky. We loved Rusty to pieces.

Rusty, Blacky, and Lucky
So sorry to hear of Rusty's Passing. I know in my heart he is at the RAINBOW BRIDGE; I have just recently finished reading the book "Cold Noses at Pearly Gates" by Gary Kurz. It is very inspiring and uplifting and references different passages from the Bible of the role of Pets in our life and their protection provided for them by God.It is wonderful that Rusty had a wonderful life with you. He was a brave little darling and I know he is watching out for you..Tell Blacky and Lucky that they are really special and that they are lucky to have each other and to also have known Rusty. Love their pictures, especially "king" Blacky and hot dog Lucky. Good Doxie parents always benefit from the unyielding love we receive from these special little beings.
