Favorite food: Taste of the Wild
Favorite treat: Beggin' Strips
Favorite toy: Anything that squeaks!
Favorite spot to sleep: On the bed, but on top of the covers. I have too much fur to be underneath.

Aurora was rescued from the Whatcom Humane Society in Bellingham Wa on 2/7/2012, where her Mom and human sister volunteer. I am told her old people dropped her off with all the emotion of dropping canned food at the food bank. They were moving and didn't want her anymore. How sad.
She is the sweetest dachshund ever. She is obedient and walks great on a leash, she sits for her treats and loves other dogs.
Kasper has taught her how to bark at the front door and she has a dislike of large men. We are working on her with that.
Aurora loves to dig in the garden and hide her bones. She kills her toys and fetches very well. We are blessed to have found her at the shelter.
She now resides with our other doxie, Kasper, 4 cats (Malaki, Kizmet, Austin and Cypress), and a snake (Izadora) and tarantula (Persephone).
She is doing better with the cats. She still tries to chase them occasionally, but will allow them to share bed and floor space now.

They are becoming fast furiends.

I do not think she likes her dress.
This is a prototype harness I was making for a customer, so Aurora had to try it on. She didn't like it. But she looks so cute with that expression on her face.

You are a beauty. So glad you found a great home with friends too! Love the picture of you and Kasper looking out the window. We want to know if it was an easy transition with kasper. We are picking up our little rescue on saturday and mom is a little nervous I won't like her. Wishing you a wonderful day little one!
