Next week Lucy will be 6 month old,she's a mini wirehair dachshund.She's our third dachshund and our second wirehair. First there was our much loved Sparky.When Sparky was a few years old he got a sister,her name was Liesie and she was a longhair dachshund. Sparky died 6 years ago,what a sad time it was! Our beloved Liesie sadly passed away in March,we were determined that she was our last. I just didn't know if I ever would be ready for another one,I still miss the other two even to this day!
As you see I eventually was ready which is how Lucy came along,she was a bit of a challenge,the first few weeks seemed to consist of nothing but potty training ;) but the day that at times I thought would never arrive finally did and now she is potty trained-yay!!
