Hello, My name is Kirby and I'm 5 years old. My mom got me her senior year in high school and when she went away to college I stayed behind with my Grandma and Grandpa. She graduated this past May, but I'm still living with the G's since mom is in an apartment and I like to bark. Grandma says I have to stay with her so my little brother Cricket won't be sad. He is 4 and he is a red smooth also. Most of my day is spent outside protecting my yard from the squirrels. My big sister Roxie, who is not a doxie helps me to protect our space. She is a boarder collie and toy fox terrier mix, she can climb trees so the squirrels are afraid of her. I also enjoy snuggling with my people, being held whenever possible, barking at anyone I don't know and taking several naps a day. My family teases me and call me the perfect specimen just because I have velvet like fur, then they mention that I do have a flaw, my tail is bent at the end. Nobody is sure how this happened and my mom didn't even notice until she brought me home. I distracted her with puppy kisses, so she wouldn't notice, but I'm pretty sure she still would have chosen me.

My mom did this to me, it was Christmas Card photo shoot day.

I hate when they put clothes on me, but if I want to hunt squirrel in the winter I will do what is necessary.

Congrats on DD Kirby. I must say reading the captions under your pictures made me laugh. I think my favorite is that you hate the coat but will wear it if it allows you to hunt the squirrels! Have a great day and many many more !
