Hello world! Snoopy here!- Was fostered by What's Her Name (WHN) and Dad in December 2012, after they lost their beloved Anna Rose. Decided to stay on and have been enjoying life! Just turned five years old, but my story has been quite hectic- five homes in five years and now I have my furevver family! They were told I was a biter but I am only a very protective dachsie- my pack comes first! Love WHN and spend my days and nights glued to her side! Love to go in the car and do very well on a leash- am a barker and the mailman fears me. Follow WHN everywhere to make sure she is safe. Have skin issues but am being treated for it via diet and Benadryl whenever I have a flare up.
Am kept busy keeping WHN out of trouble- and I love to help her when she is sewing and quilting and doing other stuff like that! Am also a fabulous doctor- I always know when she is getting sick, or her depression is coming back, so I am in charge of her medical care and I must say that I do a great job of it!
UPDATE: AM now a handsome ten year old senior still in charge of WHN and his pack- Tasha and Anna Rose II (aka Honey when she first moved in) and now we have a beagle named Sweetie, who joined us two years ago when her owner died! Snoopervised our move last year to a larger home complete with a great fenced backyard from which I conduct security operations against all enemies foreign and domestic. Have the new mail man and UPS man properly trained!

Love your name . Glad to see you as DOTD. I enjoy reading about what is going on in your life. Since Herbie crossed the Rainbow Bridge I have adopted 3 doxie girls from Dachshund Rescue of Houston where I foster. I call them my foster Treasurer's. My sweet senior girl June passed over the Rainbow Bridge last month. I have 1 little Pomeranian girl that was my mom's and now have a Beagle/dachshund foster who's owner had to go to a nursing facility. Hope you had loads of fun celebrating today.
