Peanut and I found each other during one of the saddest times of my life. I had recently lost my dacshie boys. I could not get another pup because I couldn't go through such a loss again. That is until I looked into Peanut's eyes, she was 8 months old when I adopted her. I may have adopted Peanut from a rescue but the truth is Peanut rescued me. She helped to heal my broken heart.

My what a pretty little girl you are. You have the eyes of an angel. It is so great that you and your rescued each other. Doxies are great for healing broken hearts and Doxies need a home full of love forever and it looks like you and your Mom are a perfect match. Hi Peanut!
I rescued my mom too. She had just lost her beloved Suzie and her heart was breaking. Then she looked at me and fell in love all over again. Although Suzie will always be in her heart. Congrats on being DOTD. Hope to see more pictures of you. Your friend Sophie.
