I got a big container, with a hinge lid, and cut a little doxie door in it. Put a nice contour pillow inside and a little comforter that hangs over the edge so the lid holds it down. Then my poops can climb inside and be underneath the comforter. In the spring I change out the comforter for a lighter blanket, and everybody loves to sleep in there all year round. Maybe you would like that too! Shortly after my mom adopted me, mom and I were featured in the local newspaper when the paper did a story on the economy and people who lose their homes to foreclosure and abandon their animals when they move (which was my story).
