Shadow Dancer was purchased from a breeder, although he was more of a "rescue." He arrived in Fairbanks via Alaska Airlines. When he climbed out of the crate, he looked like a snake -- a large head and sickingly thin body. He stunk too. He was 1 1/2 years old and not socialized (at first we thought he was deaf because he didn't respond to voice). He, after lots of food and love became a beautiful, loving "buffed pup." We called him Little Arnold. Anyway, he's over 10 years old now -- resting his head on my wrist as I type. He has been a devoted critter, who loves to be a home body and ruler of the 4-legged animal roost, though very, very sweet to 2-legged creatures.
