Memorial for Mrs. Sissy
Called Home by the Great Master of all
February 10, 2011
We put "angels on call" for our sweet, gentle Mrs. Sissy. Having been diagnosed with congestive heart failure on the 31st of January and given 6 months, she heard her Great Master's call just 10 days and 22 hours later. We gently handed her to her angels who tenderly carried her to The Great Master of all on the 10th of February. Our home is not same. Her soul sister Abby is broken hearted. Banjo and Winston can't figure out where she's at. Steven and I feel the wind blowing through the hole her departing has left in our hearts. But, Mrs. Sissy put "angels on call" for her family and they hold us in their arm just for her.
Mrs. Sissy's memory will cherished "furever".
Mom, Dad, Winston, Banjo and soul sister, Abby Gail
Well hello there! My name is Mrs.Sissy known to my friends and family as Sis. As you can see, not to brag or anything BUT, I am a gorgeous Long Hair with plenty of class. I am a rescue dachshund that came from a backyard breeder that decided I was of no use to them anymore. They didn't want me anymore. My Dad and Mom were rescuing one of my babies and I tried to go home with them that very day. Only my owner would let me. They left without me and it broke my little heart. Well, to my surprise two days later there they were again. This time they had come FOR ME!!! I was sooooooooo happy. My life has been wonderful ever since. They love me, care for me and have spoiled me rotten (not sure what that means but they say it all the time and then laugh - people are strange at times). By my very nature, I am extremely calm, laid back and extremely gentle. I know the important of daily exercise too. Every day I jump into Dad's lap for my tummy rub. Well for heavens sakes, one jump is enought isn't it? Don't want to overdue. I just turned 11 and told that I am growing older very gracefully. I'm never lonely, scared or hungry. No one here wants to give me away. I am wanted just for being me. I live with my dachsie sister, Abby Gail; my dachsie brother, Banjo; my Shih Tzu brother, Winston; and our new foster rescued dachsie, Fraulein Freda Weinmeister. Stop by and say hello when you can.

Mrs Sissy Perfect little Angel
Your story is a beautiful story. You were loved So much by your mom and dad. My Herbie crossed over the bridge 9/4/2014 and my rescue senior lady sweet June crossed over March 2017. My heart hurts for those left behind that miss you.

Sweet Sissy remembered!
It's nice when our departed doxies are remembered years later, we lost our beloved Dewy two years ago from congestive heart failure also. A day doesn't go by without his named being mentioned, Sissy you left paw prints across mom and dads hearts!
