Ringer is our red male doxie, he was a gift from my husband for my birthday. He is now retired, but was once the mid-west national weiner dog champion. Needless to say he was a quick one. He has brought joy to our lives since 2003. Since Ringer we have added 2 more doxies to our family, Risha and their daughter Roxie.
Update for August 7, 2014 - Ringer is doing well, he still loves playing ball and belly rubs. He has had to give up snacking on cheese though, we found out he's allergic and when he gets even a small amount it causes minor seizures......so no more cheese for him, bummer. He loves to be outside and basking in the sun. He's also very excited to be featured as DOTD today.
Update for March 27, 2018 - Ringer is once again a lucky dog to be the DOTD! He will be 15 in July and still loves belly rubs and all the attention he can get. He is getting along very well and is still a happy boy!
Update for February 1, 2019 - It is with a very sad heart that I post this update. We lost our beloved Ringer yesterday morning at 9:50 am. He passed in my arms as I was rocking him and telling him how much he will always be loved! He was 15 and a half years old, he was always a loyal and loving dog and will be greatly missed by all in our family. May my Ringer "Boogie" always Rest In Peace knowing how much he meant to my life!

What a handsome boy Ringer was and I'm so happy to see him as DOTD once again! Ringer and Risha are together at the bridge watching over their family. RIP Ringer
