Marten is my service dog. He was a rescue and joined our family April 1, 2012 when he was 3 years old. His birthday is August 16, 2008. He is a phenomenol little man and has totally changed my life for the better. Marten is wildly popular around town, and everywhere we go he has friends and is warmly welcomed. I cook for him, and he gets 3/4 of a cup of food per day. When we are unexpectedly separated, he gets very depressed and refuses food. He and I are so closely bonded we are fairly inseparable. He spends most of his time organizing, reorganizing, burrowing, sleeping and supervising. All of which he has mastered :). He also enjoys gutting stuffed animals and hiding his treasures.
