Billy in the snow
Billy absolutely hates walking in the rain so I thought he would not like the snow, but he romped around like one of the big dogs.

I got Billy from a friend who found out after she had gotten him that she was allergic to dogs. I told her that I would keep him for a couple of weeks to see if she got better. She did and he's been in my household for 8 years. In his prime, he would chase after his squeaky toys non-stop! Now it's not so much but he's still such an adorable pet to have around. One of his quirks is that he'll completely stop if there is something in his paw. He's trained me that I must check every paw to make sure all is okay before he'll start walking again!

See another doxie that melts in the rain! My girl doesn't mind the snow, but the rain and wind are a huge NO! We need more pictures of you. We wish you many happy healthy years with your family!

Hi Billy!
WOW -- you sure are cute. Hey - I'm a 9 year old doxie and I hated rain a nd water and even walked around pudles -- but this summer I took my first swim in the Atlantic Ocean. It was fun -- I think I'll do it again next summer. Give it a try -- you might like it.

You make an excellent DOTD AND YOUR Very Handsome as well. Sounds like you enjoy the good life. I personally do not like rain or snow myself. You are still a young dude and I am wishing you many more years of fun, health, happiness and good health.

This will be Poppy's first snow that she gets to go out in. Mommy thought she was too little and shivery to gob out in cold weather last winter but we will be testing the snow this year. May your paths be well shoveled and your belly stay dry. -Jane and Poppy Lou
