Yes, I have a new Mom and Dad all my very own. On January 26th, 2011 Charles and Cheryl from Arlington, TX came to pick us up. It's it wonderful, Benny got to come too! We are so very happy in our new "furever" home. Our Foster Mom and Dad were sad to see us go BUT so very happy they helped along the way.
My name is Fraulein Freda Wienmeister. I live in San Antonio, TX. I was found as a stray, wandering around scared, lonesome, and undernourished. I had lost a lot of my hair due to poor nutrition. I was very sad. Someone has used me to have lots of puppies. Not sure how I got there but there I was all alone and very hungry. Some nice person found me and brought me into rescue shelter care. They helped me out the first few days and then got me to this wonderful Dachshund group called Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas. I've been placed with my Foster Mom and Dad along with 2 dachshund sisters, 1 dachshund brother, 1 Shih Tzu brother AND the love of my life, another rescue dachshund, a wonderful guy named Benny Von Teckel. I've been given lots of yummy, nutitious food and my hair is growing back in just dandy now. I am an independent girl but do like a good snuggle too. I sleep in the big bed under the covers. I am around 3 years old and weight a svelte 8-9 lbs Benny and I are BFf's and are hoping and praying that we will be adopted together. We would be so lonesome without one another.
