Watson is a 9 year old smooth coated dachshund that I adopted through Puppy Mill Rescue. He is the most loveable dog I have ever had and loves to be cuddled and loved. He was diagnosed in September of 2007 with invertabral disc disease in his neck area but has recovered with conventional treatment and crate rest and is now back to his fun loving self. We were helped greatly by the wonderful people at Dodgerslist and I would recommend the list to everyone. He is also diabetic and has to have insulin shots twice a day. He loves his chewies and loves eating.

What a strong boy you are, and handsome too!! You are one lucky boy, being rescued by a family that loves you more than anything! Watson you truly are a winner. I am so happy how great your life has turned out. It is wonderful for us senior doxies that there are loving families that are willing to give us a chance of living a long, healthy loving life.

Joe and I were browsing the profiles here at Daily Doxie...and we just had to stop by and say HI! Your story brought tears to my eyes, both because of the suffering you had, and also because of the happiness you now have! So grateful for your humans for providing you with a loving home! Glad you are doing better. We had a Dalmation with diabetes...she did well with her daily insulin shots..again..thank GOD for your humans. You are in our prayers little guy! Devra and Joe
