Favorite food:
Eukanuba for dachshunds dry food.
Favorite treat:
Bone shaped, mulit flavored biscuits and ice cream! (any flavor!)
Favorite toy:
Stuffed turtle & moose.
Favorite spot to sleep:
In the sunshine by the back patio door or beside anyone sitting on the couch.
Archenemy:
Garbage truck, any animal in our yard, and being alone in the house. Doorbells!

Winnie is a "tweenie". Not a miniature and not quite a standard. Winnie's real name is Winifred Hydlesburg of Winesburg. She was born Dec. 4, 2001. We got her in Feb. 01, from Amish country here in Ohio. She is 14 years old and spoiled rotten. She looks older than 13 with all her gray hair on her face, chin and paws. Must be all that (spoiled) hard living she has. :)
She loves her biscuits, raw hide chewies, to sleep, and her family. We love Winnie to pieces, too. She loves to play with anyone who will give her attention. She loves to chase the broom, bark at it, and run from it around the dinner table when mom is cleaning up. Winnie has an endless amount of wet kisses and a happy wagging tail to welcome us home every day. She is the joy in our lives here and there is never a dull moment with her constant yapping and barking going on 24/7. Winnie is a great watch dog. Any noise, human, car, animal, warrants a bark. We wouldn't have her any other way. :)
UPDATE:
Our beloved Winnie passed away 1/9/15 at the age of 14. She became ill with heart disease in late 2013. Recently she became ill again, passing away due to complication from that disease. We are deeply saddened from our loss and miss her royal princess ways. Our home will never feel the same from the hollowness that remains now without her grand presence, :(

I just saw that heaven has another angel. I hope you have met my Herbie that crossed over 9/4/14 . I know your humans miss you soon and you will always have a special place in their hearts. It is always sad to read when a special doxie friends that has passed over the rainbow bridge. (Herbie's mom)
