We got Leo at 8 months from the SPCA February 28 2010, someone bought him and he barked when he was alone and neighbours complained so he was dumped.
He was in a pet store until he was about 6 months so he missed some of his important opportunities to explore the world.
Despite this he is a very sweet calm boy, he loves other dogs, and loves to sniff and run outside when the weather is nice.
He is not short hair, and not long hair, he is somewhere in between.
His birthday is June 11th 2009.
He weighs about 13 pounds, has big floppy ears, giant feet for his size, and a long nose!

Congratulations on being DOTD. I think you have a perfect name (as in Leo the Lion Hearted ) plus you are a very handsome young dude. I am so happy that you now have a loving home after such a rough start in life. I do not know why anyone would ever throw a cute, special little guy away.
