I started dating a wonderful man who knew I loved dachshunds but couldn't afford one. He bought Oscar for me July 2004. I got to pick him out, one of the last two out of the litter. It has been wonderful having Oscar in our lives!! But life has been hard on Oscar. He has had a tumor removed before he was 6 months old, survived a vicious attack by a large dog. He is now afraid of other dogs and it has changed his personalitybut we love him even more!! I could not imagne life with out him!!!
