We guess that Buck is about 3- he was a rescue dog. He had been hit by a car, & taken to a shelter. When nobody claimed him, he was put up for adoption. A friend of mine took him to her boss (a wonderful vet) who did $6,000.00 of orthopedic surgery to repair a fractured pelvis & femur. She nursed him back to health, but after he played too roughly with her parrot, she reluctantly asked me to adopt him.
Buck loves squeak toys & runs everywhere he goes. He's got a tiny fleck of a Wall Eye- I call it "sparkle". He reminds me a lot of my beloved "Hershey" that passed away in '04, so I call him my little angel.
Before we lost our sweet Lab mix "Skipper", Buck loved to chase Skip around the yard, nipping at his feet as he ran, then Skipper would reach down & bowl him over.
