Big Red Rude - My name is Rudi and I am a rescue dachshund. My Mama adopted me when I was 8 months old. I immediately got two new siblings, Fritz and Maddie. When I was first brought home, my new Mama and Daddy thought something was wrong with me because I never barked. Not even when I met my new brother and sister. And then I saw her, an alien in the window, it was Dixie the cat! I barked and barked and barked. I had never seen a cat before.
I am a big old goofy boy who loves to bound across the yard and chase my older brother Fritz. But most of all I love to lay in my Mama's lap or snuggle next to her under the covers.
