Samson was another great gift to me. A very kind couple in the vet's office felt sorry for me when I was cradling and crying over my Otis in October 2005, and six weeks later they put Samson in my arms as a companion for Otis. Okay, so Samson is a little bit "fluffy", but I try not to use that other "f" word around him. (You know...fat...shhh...don't say it too loud...) He is on a diet, and he does get exercise, but apparently he's meant to be big-boned.
At the Mooresville Weiner Race in 2007, random people would ask if they could take pictures of Samson, because they'd never seen a Doxie that big before. "Sure!"
I absolutely love ALL Dachshunds. I say if I ever win the PowerBall, I'm buying a farm house with lots of land so I can roll around in the grass all day with a hundred Doxies! That's my heaven right there.

You are indeed a very Handsome guy. I hope you are always able to enjoy the good life. I have problems keeping my weight down also especially since I discovered it is more fun to ride than walk. Matter of fact I would not stop barking just now until Mom quit typing and got up to get me a snack. Best to you.

Ah, who cares about weight, that's me too! I'm Roxy the 'big' sister in every way.. then there is Winnie, my 'little' sister... after I got spayed I kinda fluffed up too. Just waitin' for Winnie to get spayed, then watch out! Mommy will have 2 big girls on diets.. yeah, My mama put me on one... Well, you are a handsome, happy, beautiful boy, and we know you make the mama happy! Congrats on DOTD! Love Roxy and Winnie
