Pepper is a 5 year old sweetheart. He loves people and having his belly rubbed.
When I first saw Pepper he was sitting calmly in his cage with his brother who was chewing on his ear and barking. I asked if I could hold him and I don't think I ever put him down till we got home with him. Well, I think I let his daddy hold him for a minute to seal the deal. I was not going home without that baby.
We didn't even know he could bark till he was 6 months old and let out a tiny woof. When he was a baby he used to hop and bop to get up on his pillow. That is how he earned the nickname hoppin' bopper. Pepper has one son- Roscoe, by luck, just weeks before he was scheduled to get fixed.
