We brought home our first tiny doxie a little over 4 years ago...she was no more than 6-7 inches long and we wished she could've stayed that way. She is our second dog and it took us awhile to have the courage to bring home another dog after losing our first dog baby. Our neighbors had a dachshund and he had the best temperament and we wanted one of our own.
She was easy to potty and crate train. As she got older, we were convinced and still are that she does not sleep!!! We see her in the morning and has bags under her eyes. She is a bundle of energy but every bit of a girl!! She does not like getting wet in the rain nor baths. She does enjoy an ocassional back rubbing on the grass and chasing whatever comes her way. She shares our household with an older sister cat.
We hope to adopt a doxie sometime in the future to keep her company.
My daddy was the one that picked my name...could you guess that he is a Star Wars fan???? It was Yoda or Princess Leia but way too long...My room is filled with Star Wars paraphernelia!! I mean LOTS!!
