Lucky was born on 8/1/91. I bought him in Farmington NM for $75. He was just a month old. I had to hand feed him for several weeks to make sure he would live. A few days after I got him the dog next door died of Parvo and due to Lucky's age he wasn't able to get his shot yet. He never contracted Parvo thank goodness. Lucky was my best friend until I lost him on 6/2/08. This was 58 days short of his 17th birthday. Lucky and I went through some rough times together but it never failed he stuck by me through it all. I am sure that Lucky is proud of me for getting my new babiies. He knows that he is in my heart and lives on through the new boys. He will never be forgotten. Lucky is waiting for me on the Rainbow Bridge. We will be together again someday. I love and miss you my friend. Lucky 8/1/91 to 6/2/08.

Seeing you today as DOTD means so much to me. You Dewy and Herbie were some of the originals on DOTD. I certainly hope you have met up with your long time friends . Your mom still misses you but honors your memory by sharing her tremendous love
