I would say mice. She has a major case of prey drive and would spend all night hunting mice in the back yard and or storage room
Favorite spot to sleep:
Sleep she cannot sleep she has mice, chickens, birds, lizards, and any other prey to chase! If she slept she might miss somethin
Archenemy:
Any fence, gate, object preventing her from hunting!

Well Torey Ann came along because I had to go back to work and that meant Tobey would be alone all day!
I heard about a great breeder out in the country!
Well it was love at first sight! Not just Tore Tore but the whole family! They had 9 dogs at the time. I think 5 or 6 were rescues and dogs that no one else wanted! Then they had Torey's mom, her sister and Torey's dad. That was it. They did not have 20 dogs to breed!
Torey was born July 27th of 2005. She is 3 years old and the alpha dog under mom in the house!
Torey has had one litter which was not planned! Little did I know that these boys will do anything to get their girl! I learned my lesson! I was devastated but I would never have had my princess Piggles if it had not happened!
Torey had 5 puppies. One was born dead who is now the princess of the house Piggles! Her grandma June gave her CPR and brought her back :-)
2 of her pups live in Santa Barbara together still, the little boy lives in Santa Maria and the other female is my moms little one!
Torey is a dominant female but does not over step her line!
She is very very maternal! She takes each new dog and treats it like one of her kids! When we have rescued puppies she has always been one of the moms! If there is a squeak or squeal she is right there to check on the babies! She is a great mom!
She also aids me in discipline of the dogs. When you have sometimes over 20 Dachshunds in one house it is hard to be the only authority figure and be everywhere at one time! I always know that Torey has my back and will take control when needed!

We took the dogs to Sacramento to see their grandpa, then to San Francisco, Monterey and Carmel! All places that are great to vacation with your pets!

Torey is and always will be the mom of the pack! This is Baron sitting on her! Not sure what he is doing but she does not seem to mind!
