One day I chased the ball and I got so tired. One day I played with the kids and couldn't breathe well. One day I started sleeping, on my pillows of course, but didn't want to go out to play. One day it was too hard to walk. One day it was too hard to eat. I told my family, not another Christmas (even though I love presents!), not another New Year's, not another family party, I am just too tired. My family held me close as we said good-bye. Now, I can run and play without being tired. I have wonderful memories. I was loved, happy and I continue to watch over my family from above..

My new big ball
It's no secret that I love tennis balls! My Mom found this really big one for me. I am one smart "sausage" because I quickly figured out that I needed to make a "handle" out of the fuzz so I could carry it!

My beloved boy Dewy also loved those little green balls and also starting slowing down before crossing the bridge! Chance you left paw prints on the hearts of those who knew and loved you, that will never fade. RIP sweet boy.
