Our little Roscoe is turning 2 in February. He is our very first dog. I fell in love the moment I met him. Honestly, we weren't prepared for all the hard work that goes into having a dog. With a lot of scolding and training (on our part), we finally got him house-trained. Roscoe like many dachshunds has a big bark. We're still working on getting him more socialized with other dogs and people. He acts like a tough cookie, but hes very affectionate and loves attention once he gets to know you. He loves to play with his squeaky ball, and chasing his sister Noodles (Kitty) around. Roscoe enjoys taking baths and doesnt mind a good blow-dry afterwards. Once you give him a little attention, you better be prepared to give him all your undivided attention! <3<3<3
Update as of Dec 2013: (Roscoe will be 6 in Feb 2014) Its been a while since we visited our doxie friends at dailydoxie. This year has been tough as our little boy Roscoe hurt his back and lost use of his hind legs. Hes been a tough lil guy and has learned to manage with just 2 very strong legs. We hope and pray that someday he will learn to walk on all 4's again but we are extremely grateful that hes still a part of our lives.
