Starting to feel like home
This pretty girl is becoming acclamated to her new house and is very photogenic as you can see. She is a joyful addition to our family as she has 2 half brothers and a half sister.

We lost our beloved dachshund, Baxter, two years ago. He was like no other dachshund. My husband misses Baxter immensely but won't let on. So one day my husband and I go to our local pet store and Babbs was there coming from a shelter. She's 5 years old and very docile and fits right in. She's so sweet, loves to go walking and house broken! My grandchildren have a doxie named Odi (who loves to come out to our house and play) as does our son has a doxie named Presley. Presley lives in Round Rock Texas and hasn't met Babbs. We hope to all get together during the holidays!
Babbs loves her squeaky diva toy. It's easy to see she knows to go get it when I throw it, she brings it right back. I wish my poodle would do that, but he's too stubborn, he's a 'Divo'.
All the dogs collectively are becoming used to each other, so far no growling or showing of teeth. Four is a good number!

I am so happy Babbs has such a wonderful family. I could NEVER imagine surrendering any pup especially a beautiful doxie like Babbs. My girl loves to lay with her back legs out too! Doxies are SO personable! Many many happy healthy years to Babbs! XOXOX
