I picked up Harley on Memorial Day 2009. He was born April 13, 2009 so he was just old enough to leave his Mommy. We previously had a red short haired daschund named Ruffy and he was the best dog ever. He lived for 17 years, but sadly we had to have him put to sleep in early May. I was not sure if I wanted another dog, but as soon as I saw Harley I knew he would be a lovable addition to our family. Harley is a real handful now, just full of energy, but we love him so much. We needed Harley to fill that very empty spot in our lives and he is definitely part of the family now. Spoiled of course and running the household, but who could ask for more.

Your name rhymes with mine! And Lady starting calling me Harley when she adopted me -by mistake. She is from Daytona Beach and likes Harley-Davidson motorcycles, so naturally, she called me Harley. But I had been called Marley for 3 years, so she adjusted. I really didn't mind. I come when she calls me sweetheart, my sweet boy, baby boy, my angel, my little blessing...
