Buford is a six year old male that has been aptly named "the grumpy old man" because although he is friendly to everyone, he doesnt really like to be held or cuddled. He only likes love on his own terms (kinda like a cat!). We bought him in Okinawa, Japan as a puppy and he was our first Dachshund. His favorite toy is the rope as he loves to play tug-of-war. I love the fur on his ears because when it rains (and it rains frequently here in Florida) his hair gets krimpy! Just like in the 80's. It is too funny. Buford is a great dog and we love him dearly. Our "herd" would not be the same with out him.
