Maggie is a smooth black and tan dachshund I received on a trip home for the holidays several years back. I had been looking for a pup to adopt, but with no luck. Maggie ran up to me with such love and excitement, I couldn't say no. About a week after having her, she became very sick with Parvo virus. Miraculously, she survived! I jokingly call her the most expensive free dog ever.
She's VERY friendly/loving and curious. Smart too! I've taught her to sit, stay, lay down, twirl, shake, stay, and roll over - I'm more proud of myself for having the patience!
Her favorite activities include: sunbathing, going to parks, people watching from the windows, exploring her new home city, showing off in front of friends, and snuggling!
**Maggie makes daily trips to Huntington Park and St. Mary's Square, so feel free to say hi!**
