We adopted Benny from the Midwest Dachshund Rescue. We had gone to the foster home to pick up Stella, a 6 yr old Dachsie mix (see her info as well) we met at German Fest and were adopting, and met him. He was about 1 year old. A short haired, black and tan dapple tweenie. My kids and I fell in love at first sight and went back a week later (8/8/08) to pick him up. He is a complete lover. All he wants is love and attention. He gets so relaxed he literally falls off your lap.
