Nugget: Super special. I always call him my little gift from God. We got him when our first dachshund named Amos died during surgery to repair a ruptured disc in his neck. I had no reason to get up in the mornings, that is until we brought Nugget home! He is almost always so peaceful and eager to please.
He is a red dapple mini with a lot of love and 7 and a half years old.
Daisy Mae is Nuggets first cousin.She is a chocolate mini who loves to have her belly rubbed. Their moms were sisters. Daisy we often call our special needs dog. She was allergic to each and every vaccine she got and finally we had to stop giving them when she was a puppy. She still has health issues from said vaccines that we treat now with herbs. She also had to have surgery for two ruptured discs in Jan of 2008. She is doing GREAT now and we couldn't be happier! We started making Snuggle Sacks after her surgery, send me a note and I'll share the link.
Duke is our dachshund wannabe! He is a papillion / chihuahua mix or one or the other. We'll never know. He was left behind at the Dog Daycare that I worked at and I offered to take him home. He is so in love with Nugget and Daisy. He will put his entire 5 pounds in front of them to keep them from trouble! It's not his fault he has long legs!
And Piper. She has been with us the longest, she was a housemate to Amos. She is a siamese that we found as a kitten at the vet clinic I worked at. She does think she is a dog, even uses the doggie door to go out back to potty!!
So that is all for now. We all live in Fort Worth now and have to watch out for spiders, hawks and snakes!! Oh My!!

Wow, you lucky Doxies!!!
Wow, you are a lucky Doxies like me. Hey Daisy, I don't blame you for not liking to be dressed up. My mommy has a pick polka dot jacket with white fur that I hate it when she puts it on me!!! But, you mention do I wanna go bye bye, and I will put on anything including a paper sack if necessary. Nugget you look soft as a marshmellow, I bet your mommy loves to pick you up and huggggggggggg you!!!! BTW I love the cow outfits, but Not for me LOL. 10 bones for you guys!!!! Congrats on being DOTD!!!!!
