CJ was a very brave boy, and he gave a good fight. However, his illness was stronger than his spirit and our best efforts, and we lost him at the age of 2 1/2. He didn't live a long life, but it was a full life; he had seen so many parts of the country during his time. He knew he was loved until the very end. We miss him very much, and the pain is not getting any easier to deal with, but we take comfort in his memories, and I know that his spirit is with us in some ways.
