Favorite food:
Whatever delicious morsel grandma sneaks me under the table or cheese from Grandpa. Spoiled dog!!
Favorite treat:
homemade sweet potato treats, and the errant napkin or Kleenex are always welcomed used or not!
Favorite toy:
squeaky the squirrel, and chasing laser lights
Favorite spot to sleep:
anywhere she can see what's going on. But at night right next to me!
Archenemy:
life's too short to have those.

Kate is such a treat! We found her thru Dachshund Rescue (DRNA) when she was 3 months old. She was from a big puppy mill raid in Parkersville, W Va. in August of '08 (She even had a brief cameo on Dogtown!! Pawtographs anyone?!!!) She was 1 of close to a 1000 dogs that were rescued.
She is such a sweet and hysterically funny girl. Always ready and willing to go outside for a walk or visit a neighbor. But naps are a good thing as well. Can never get too many of those. Her BFF is a Italian Greyhound. To see them together is a site. They love to chase each other throughout the house leaving a mass of destruction... Ok not really but they have a great time.
When Kate came into our lives the incidence and level of laughter increased exponentially! What a joy! I say that now while she is sleeping and not terrorizing the garbage hunting for used Kleenex. We also have a couple video's posted on YouTube
