Desdemona joined our family in May, 2008 when she was six weeks old. She has added lots of love and joy to our lives. Like her namesake, from the Shakespeare play Othello, Desdemona is kind, gentle, and loving. She loves to sit at my feet while I grade papers or lay on my lap while I read. She is always so excited when her Jerrod comes home from college to see her. She's a real cuddly girl who just loves to be petted and to give kisses. We're truly blessed to have her in our lives!

It is with a breaking heart that I write this. Our beautiful Desdemona crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 12, 2011. She was just over three years old. In those three years, though, she was loved and adored. Her life was full of people who loved her immensely. We love you, little girl.
