Well he really only gets his doggy chow, but his favorite food is lunch meat...Which he DOES NOT get very often!

So Hotdog is my heart and soul. I was always a Large Breed lover, as I grew up breeding GSD's. Anyways, my mom got a doxie and bred her, and one of those babies is my Hotdog. We kept 2 of the 4 puppies out of the litter, but Hotdog is by far the best.
He loves me as much as I love him and I don't know what I would do without him. TECHNICALLY he's my b/f's dog (he's the name on registration), but I'm "Mama".
I never thought I could love an animal so much, and especially not a small breed dog. I have had my mind changed, and love my boy with all I have!
He's so sweet and loving to everyone he meets, as long as they're OK with me...The most well behaved dog I've ever had, in fact I think he speaks human english! lol!
He loves to chase things in the yard, and loves to burrow under my blankets, and his favorite place to sleep is curled up as close to me as possible.

So sweet!
I totally get the "human-like" personality. Sometimes it is almost creepy. My husband and I will give each other a look when she understands our conversation. ALL dogs in my book are great but the doxies just has so many special qualities unlike other dogs. I have had all kinds, poodle,GSD,Husky, cocker,maltese,mixed breeds and while I loved them all I can't ever go back! Hotdog has a beautiful face and the family pic is great! Many MANY happy healthy years to all!!
