Cassi came to her forever home in July 2009 from www.mwdr.org.
My Mom went to a Responsible Dog owners day event where Midwest Dachshunds had a tent and there I was. I seen my Mom and followed her around the pen until she picked me up and held me. I was found wandering in Hyde Park in Chicago, I have a hump in my back that the rescue people feel is a result of being kept in a cage too small for me, but my mom thinks I am beautiful just the same. I am super loving girl with LOTS of DOXITUDE! My Mom can not figure out why anyone would put me in a cage, because I am such a good girl that never chews anything nor messes in the house.
My Mom works so she usually takes me to my Grandma's house during the day, so I can keep her company as Grandpa passed away this year.
