Whiskey came to us in October of 2008 from a breeder in Fredericksburg, VA. I like to think I saved Whiskey because a woman I work with who is associated with the DRNA (Dachshund Rescue of North America) has claimed that this particular breeder is one of the worst breeders she has ever seen and treats all of her adult dogs like poo. Let's just say that DRNA has went over to her house a couple of times and confiscated some unhealthy dogs. Whiskey is well... the color of Whiskey, he is a brindle, the first one I have ever seen. He is a goofy boy, who loves to play with the others and chases his tail all the time!!! Whiskey is a brindle smooth coat and is a year old as of Aug 16.
Update on Whiskey: He is doing very well and is enjoying living in our brand new house (we moved in Aug 15, the day before his birthday!). He has a bordetella vaccination coming up on Sep 19. He hates car rides so Im sure he will throw up on the way to the vet! :( He loves being DOTD, so please leave more comments!
