Whiskey came to us in October of 2008 from a breeder in Fredericksburg, VA. I like to think I saved Whiskey because a woman I work with who is associated with the DRNA (Dachshund Rescue of North America) has claimed that this particular breeder is one of the worst breeders she has ever seen and treats all of her adult dogs like poo. Let's just say that DRNA has went over to her house a couple of times and confiscated some unhealthy dogs. Whiskey is well... the color of Whiskey, he is a brindle, the first one I have ever seen. He is a goofy boy, who loves to play with the others and chases his tail all the time!!! Whiskey is a brindle smooth coat and will be 4 years old in Aug 2012.
