How do you like my new PJs?
First outfit that actually fits. OK, the ears are a bit much but my parents pull the hood down when we go for a walk.

My husband & I are first time dog owners and we bought a beautiful long hair miniature dachshund in April 2008. Her name is Missy and she is now 2.5 years old. My how time flies.
Missy continues you swim almost everyday which is great exercise because now she doesn't want to walk around the neighbourhood anymore. She's put on a little weight and we want to walk every night to get her weight back down. We end up driving to nearby subdivisions to walk somewhere new. Even then she lies down after about 2km and doesn't want to move anymore. My husband ends up carrying her back to the car. Someone commented that that is the true deifinition of "taking a dog for a walk".

It took awhile but I finally got booties to match my coat. Pink of course!

I learned to swim last year but I'd rather just veg on the bed.

You sure are a pretty little Doxie Diva. I think it is cool that you get to swim. I am 13 yrs old now I have started to shorten my walks and of course I am putting weight on. Maybe I need a swimming pool like you. Loved all your pictures.

Hi Missy!
You are ADORABLE!! Sounds like you have a great life. Tell Mom and Dad unsalted, plain rice cakes work great as treats. No calories, pups love them and we don't feel guilty. Just break them in small pieces. The weight just melts off. I love all your pictures, especially in your coat and boots! Many happy healthy years to you!!
