Baron's first night!
This is Baron in Gregg's lap the first night! It is obvious that with all his extra skin and the size of this little boy there was certainly something not right with him!
it did not matter I was in love!

The Red Baron
Favorite food: Tase of the Wild (Salmon or Buffalo)
Favorite treat: Natural Balance roll (we call it doggy crack here)
Favorite toy: Posey or any dog he can drag around by their ears!
Favorite spot to sleep: laying on moms stomach, half on half off!
Archenemy: Oh goodness Baron is still scared of just about everything! Worst would be the toe nail clippers! He screams when he sees them!

Baron bear is one of 6 Dachshunds that a local breeder brought to us on May 20th!
This poor little guy stole my heart the second I laid eyes on him!
He had to be fostered with a friend because at the time we had Chloe and Zoey (now on the site as Cocoa from Arroyo Grande Ca.
I would go over to my friends and this poor boy along with the other was just so scared and sad! I finally gained this babies trust and we have been in love since! He came to live here with us at the end of May! Gregg said no since he knew he would most likely never leave!
He was a year old in December we think and we have set the date as the 14th!
He spent the first 5 months of his life in such a small crate he could not move around. Because of that he developed no muscle and no stamina. He has gotten a lot of strength back and is a very sweet happy guy now! We love his precious little face so much!
Maybe one day the right person will come around to adopt him but until then he will be my little boy forever!
There is a chance that he has Ehlers-Donlas syndrome! But we are optimistic and hope he never develops any of the other symptoms associated with it! Right now the only thing he has is little muscle, lots of skin and very fragile! He has health insurance so we know he will always be taken care of! Special needs kids just make them special in moms heart!

Baron and Torey Ann
Baron takes advantage of Torey's maternal ways and uses her as a pillow! She took Baron in like one of her own puppies and kept a watchful eye on him!

Time to sleep
Baron on the couch after a long day! He attended the annual wiener roast in Carmel Ca. there were over 100 doggies there and it was amazing! He wore his little body out!

Way To Go!!!
Congratulations on being today's daily doxie dude! We like the picture of you peeking your head out from under the blanket. That's one of our favorite places to be. Under a big pile of soft cushy blankets. The warmer, the better!!!
