Harley came to us through a friend who got him from a Dachshund Rescue -- at 11 months she was his 3rd owner. The previous owners did not realize how special he was but we sure did! We dog-sat for him many times and finally he just wouldn't leave our house and our friend had to give him to us. He is darling and funny -- using his toys as tools to play with his other toys.
He is currently recovering from his second back surgery in 4 months and doing fantastic -- can't keep a good dog down. He shares a birthday with my husband. and will be 8 this December.
He is what I call "my little sanity". Nothing makes me calmer than holding and petting Mr. Puppy!
