Tulip came from a local pet store. I've learned my lesson on them now. I'll buy no more puppies from a pet store. She was a present for my daughter's birthday. She quickly took charge of the family and has been the little dictator since. Actually, Tulip has a very sweet nature. She's a cinnamon. She has caught several moles at my mother's house. She is quite a sight when she leans her head sideways so she can hear them underground! We love her with all of our hearts. She entered in the wiener races this last year but she didn't run she was afraid of the whole thing so next year we'll just watch.

A pretty name for a pretty girl. Whip cream is my favorite. Is that ice cream or whip cream? Looks like starbucks to me - Yummy! Wishing you and your brother lots of doxie fun.

What a beauty!
I must have HUNDREDS of pix of my two minis, Henry and Daisy, with snouts sticking out from under the blankets or in other poses of repose. They are great photographic subjects because they're so accustomed to me photographing them, and they're usually asleep. Louis, my 30-lb. standard red, is the only one that will hog and entire blanket and wrap himself up in like a Dairy Queen cone - with just his butt and back legs sticking out. What a comic! Three dogs, same breed, completely different personalities. Isn't it great?

Congratulations Tulip
What a pretty name for a pretty girl.. Love your "snout" picture. I went to the races several years ago and I decided to stay in the box and hunt while all the other doxies were running down the track. Then I just took a casual jog down the track, stopping to visit along the way, and then back to mom's arms. So much for racing. You need to come over to my hayfield and we could hunt for gophers together. Maybe you can teach your brother how to hunt, which is more fun than racing.
