I grew up in a house with a lot of dogs, but the most memorable dog was Angel, our black smooth dachshund. She was my favorite dog and I was extremely sad when she passed away. I've always wanted a dachshund of my own and was really happy when my fiance' agreed to get one, even though he wanted a more manly dog like a shepard or a lab.
I went searching and found LongDox in Oregon. Dealing with the breeder, Amy, was such a pleasure and I knew that we had made the right decision to get our puppy from her.
Truffles came on the 24th and has been a bundle of fun!
I'll update this more as he gets older and starts to grow more.

Resting on my neck..
I don't know why, but Truffles LOVES to crawl on my neck and rest. When driving in the car, he crawls up my chest and goes behind my neck and naps. Of course, I LOVE when he does that!

Truffles and Squeaky
Squeaky the Lamb is a toy that the breeder sent with Truffles. He loves that lamb, especially when he figured out where the two squeaks were. All we heard coming from his direction was squeak, squeak, squeak.

You grew up from the cutest puppy ever to a very handsome young doxie dude. It is great that you have such a loving home. Doxies may be short in height but we are the fearless little guys on earth.
